RULES:

1.    All State of Wisconsin mandatory health regulations apply. See State, County & District Fairs, Rules & Regulations of Animal Health in front portion of book.

2.    All Junior Fair rules apply. See Jefferson County Fair - Junior Fair Rules in front portion of this book. In addition, the following rules will also be enforced.

3.   No professional fitters will be allowed to work on Junior animals at any time during the County Fair.  Only the exhibitor, immediate family (father, mother, sibling or guardian) or another Junior exhibitor will be allowed to assist the exhibitor.

4.    The superintendent may disqualify any animal that is not clean or properly groomed and fitted.

5.    Substitutions may be made only within the lot number as entered on the entry blank. Once entry deadline is reached, NO CHANGES will be made because of exhibitor error, ringworm, warts, etc.

6.    Junior fair exhibitors must show their animal unless special permission is granted by the superintendent for another junior fair dairy exhibitor to show the animal.

7.    All junior fair dairy cattle must be housed with the club exhibit.

8.    Registered animals must be shown in the breed of registry.  A registered Holstein has to be 87% RHA and above to be eligible to show.  If an animal is shown in grade at the County Fair it is ineligible to show at State Fair.

9.    Bedding and feed are the responsibility of each exhibitor. Any changes to this rule will be noted in the newsletter issued by UW-Extension.

10. Bedding may not be put into the stalls until the superintendent posts the stall assignments.  Superintendents reserve the right to change stall assignments due to cancellations at check-in.

11. All WHITE attire will be worn for showing cattle. Farm or club shirts will not be allowed.  No logos.  Failure to comply with this regulation will prevent the exhibitor from showing until regulation is complied with.

12. A $1.00 per animal, non-refundable stall fee will be charged.
