JUNIOR CLASS CHILD DEVELOPMENT RULES AND CLASSIFICATIONS

CHILD DEVELOPMENT

RULES:

1.     All State of Wisconsin and Jefferson County Fair rules apply. Both sets of rules are located in the front of this book. In addition the following rules will be enforced.

2.     Open to members enrolled in the Child Development project.

3.     Exhibits must be the result of project work completed by exhibitor and must be made by the exhibitor unless otherwise stated.  For further assistance on entries refer to 4-H project literature.

4.     If two or more items are entered under one lot number, exhibitors are asked to mark their articles on the bottom or the back with a small 1/2" square of masking tape on which their exhibitor number is written.

5.     Each of the activities below are taken from the literature.  Your exhibit should not be just a copy of the pages, but should be the project you made or your original idea that relates to that activity.  FOR EXAMPLE:  Class A, Lot #6 – Make your own Home Hazard Game!!  Posters and other displays are encouraged where appropriate.

CLASS C – Step 3, Growing in Communities

CLASS D – Helper’s Guide Activities (This class is for anyone who has participated in these activities during meetings and has an exhibit that relates to them.)
