All animals in the open class shall be owned by the
exhibitor except as provided in section 160.03(2) group class
definitions, Wisconsin Adm. Code.
4. Stall fee
is $1.00 per animal.

BREEDING CLASSES - AGE
CLASSIFICATIONS
Junior
Calf - Born on or
after January 1 of exhibit year. The calf shall be at least 4
months old at time of exhibit.
Senior
Calf - Born
between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31 of year preceding exhibit year.
Summer
- Heifer born between May 1 and August of yr preceding exhibit
year.
Junior
- Heifer born between Jan 1 and April 30 of yr preceding exhibit
year.
Senior
- Heifer born
between Sept 1 and Dec 31 two yrs preceding exhibit year.

Year Old & Older
- Cow born prior to Sept 1 two yrs preceding exhibit year and
which has calved during the past year.
GROUP
CLASSES
A junior get of
sire - consists of 3 animals which are offspring of the same
bull from junior calf, senior calf, and/or summer yearling, bull
and heifer classes, with both sexes to be represented. The
animals need not be owned by a single exhibitor.
A senior get of
sire - consists of 4 animals, any age, the offspring of one
sire, both sexes to be represented. The animals need not be
owned by a single exhibitor.
The name of the sire shall be designated by the exhibitor
in both the junior get of sire and the senior get of sire class.
Future
Showman Class
Rules:
1.
This class is being offered as a ribbon only class (no
premium).
2.
An adult needs to be present in the ring with each participant.
3.
Each animal must be from the calf classes only, and:
a) Animal must have been shown earlier in the day by a
4-H, FFA or other youth member as a Jr. Fair project/entry.
b) Entered as a Jr. or Sr. Calf, open class entry.
4.
Showman age to be determined as of January 1 of current
year.
5.
Register the day of the show only.
MARKET
CLASS
Rules:
1.
Market Animals will be divided by weight at the July fair
weigh-in.
2.
All market beef animals must be born on or after January
1 of the year
preceding exhibit year.
All animals will be mouthed at the scales.
Those with a broken mouth (not having all baby teeth in
place) cannot
be shown. Any
discrepancies will be finalized by the official
veterinarian.
3.
